Thank you for participating in the 2011 Midnight Riders Scarf and T-Shirt Contest.
Guidelines (Scarves)
- Designs must have two sides.
- Designs can not contain trademarked names, words, phrases, logos, symbols, designs, images, or a combination of these elements, unless received permission.
- Designs need to contain the colors of the fringe.
- Designs need to be submitted in the provided template.
- Design that does not meet these guidlines will not be submitted for voting.
- Please save files in the following format:
"firstname_lastname_scarf.jpg"
- Upload limited to 1mb. Please keep original working file, but upload reduced size jpg.
- If you are submitting mutliple scarf designs, please name them as followed:
"firstname_lastname_scarf001.jpg
- Design need to be submitted through this site. Any design submitted on any other site will not be available for final voting until it is submitted through this site.
- Designs will be posted on Riders Message Board for public viewing.
- Summissions limited to Midnight Riders.
Guidelines (T-Shirts)
- Must be designed to be printed on a navy blue shirt
- Files Must be 300dpi at actual size
This means that if you want your graphic to be 12 inches wide, you will need a file that is at least 3600 pixels wide to start with. If you are creating your graphics in Adobe Illustrator or other vector-based software, then you just need to set your document size to the size you want your graphic to be. - A 300dpi flattened TIFF in RGB is the best way to send your apparel graphic. Even if you have it in a layout or vector-based program, outputting a hi-resolution TIFF will be the best way to ensure a speedy turnaround and avoid extra file prep charges. If you are sending a vector-based EPS or PDF, make sure you convert your type to outlines to avoid missing fonts.
- Maximum dimensions are 14" x 16"
- Limit two colors (not counting the blue of the shirt).
- Design is limited to front and back of shirt (no sleeves, shoulders, etc.)
- Please save files in the following format:
"firstname_lastname_shirt.jpg"
- If you are submitting mutliple shirt designs, please name them as followed:
"firstname_lastname_shirt001.jpg
All designs will need to be approved by the Board of Directors before being produced.
If the winning design is not approved, then the Board of Directors will vote on the design that finishes second.
Time Line
- Submission date deadline - 1/2
- First voting is 1/3 - 1/9
- Final voting is 1/10 - 1/16
