Playoffs.

Say it with us again: playoffs. For the first time in four years, the Revolution is back in the playoffs – bypassing the wildcard, even, by snagging third place in the east. With one neat give-and-go play (up for goal of the week – go vote!) Juan Agudelo and Lee Nguyen put this team into the postseason. Now we look ahead to some long, long-awaited November soccer.

Bringing a spork to a musket fight

The first leg of the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals between Sporting Kansas City and the Revolution will kick off at 8:00pm on Saturday night at Gillette Stadium. Not only will we be there (and so should you – get discounted tickets (code: GOREVS) to join us in the Fort), but we’ll be running a bus to the game for just $20 a seat! Playoff soccer, tailgating with friends old and new, and a ride? What more could one ask for? Be there!

The second leg, in Kansas City, is now officially scheduled for Wednesday, November 6th at 9:00pm EST. Will you be one of the brave travelers that heads to Sporting Park? Get your away tickets here and help cheer on the team as they battle for the right to move on to the Conference Finals.

Movember

ecce ho-MoOctober is drawing to a close, and that can only mean one thing: mustaches. Right? That’s what you were thinking, obviously.

Did you know that a man is 35% more likely to be diagnosed with prostate cancer than a woman is to be diagnosed with breast cancer? That the median age of testicular cancer diagnosis is 33, or that 6 million men are diagnosed with depression and other mental health conditions each year, yet men are 24% less likely to consult a doctor than women? Well, it’s time to deploy the most powerful marketing tool in existence: your upper lip.

Wax up the ol’ pushbroom for Movember, a rapidly growing global movement to promote awareness of men’s health issues and raise funds for education and research. The Midnight Riders are sounding the call for action and teaming up with The Rebellion and our beloved New England Revolution to lead the glorious charge with soup strainers and cookie dusters around the world. Join us today to take your place in our elite squad of mustachioed heroes and not only might you save a few lives, but your panache and bravado will be renowned and celebrated across the land.
