Goals for Good

We are pleased to introduce our “Goals for Good” campaign to benefit Violence in Boston Inc. Make a pledge of ‘X’ amount per each goal that the Revs score in the “MLS is Back Tournament” (the three first round matches, plus all of the elimination rounds up to when the Revs win the thing). We will collect all of the pledged donations at the conclusion of the Revs’ tournament run to help Violence in Boston Inc work toward creating “safer, healthier, and empowered black and brown communities.”

There’s no set pledge amount per each goal – whatever you can contribute would be great. We understand that the Covid-19 situation has created some economic challenges. But if you have the means to contribute, any contribution would be greatly appreciated. No amount is too small.

Virtual Chili Cook-Off

Our Seventh Annual Chili Cook-Off had been scheduled for April 4th, but that is obviously not going to happen in the traditional fashion. However, even though we’re all stuck at home, let’s not let that stop us from enjoying some delicious chili and friendly competition!

On April 4th, cook up some chili and share a photo of it on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook with the hashtag #RidersChili2020. The Riders e-board will select several of their favorite chili photos based on how creative, well-shot, or generally enticing the photos are. These finalists will be placed in a poll on the Facebook event page on the following day to determine the 2020 Midnight Riders Chili Cook-Off winner! The winner will receive a Midnight Riders merch item of their choosing.

Also, if you currently have the ability to make a donation to Food for Free while your chili is simmering, we think that’s a cool thing to do!

Finally, if you’re looking for some extra Lot 4C ambiance, we recommended listening to our “Stay-at-Home Tailgate” playlist on Spotify while you’re cooking!
