I am truly amazed at what we accomplished given what we started with and I feel that we (collectively with everyone else) have left the organization with a firm foundation on which Fran and the new board can build up even further. I was one of those that left in '99; not because of the MR group but because of the team. From the lack of getting DPs, to seeing Joe Max leave to seeing Zenga become player coach, I feel your pain. I still watched from afar and have my blue MR hat circa 1997 with me (although the tshirt is long gone with the '97 tshirt kit as well dammit). I will be bringing my MR hat to first kick..my first opener since 1998. Wow...you were saying we were old. One year we went to Revs games my wife was pregnant...now we have a 13 yr old (luckily the 13 yr old didn't come out until after the US-ELS game that I drove Francis Okaroh to and yes I still need everyone to know that) and a 10 yr old.
