A Leg Up

New England Revolution Celebrate

Let’s hope for a lot of this.

Slick pitch, yellow cards, and late goal notwithstanding, the Revs defied the pundits and scored two to win it on Saturday, meaning they head into tonight’s game needing a win or a draw to advance.

“Sporting”

As the Revs travel to Kansas City for the second leg of the conference semi-final, we’ll be gathering for watch parties all over the region. Vermes will be contemplating “taking matters into his own hands,” but we’ll just be having fun in New England taking in some food and beers and yelling and engaging in any and all of our various superstitions. Come out to Parlor Sports in Somerville, the Revs’ official Boston-area viewing party at the Banshee in Dorchester, or Boston Billiards in Nashua, and Buffalo Wild Wings in Saugus (see page with full map and more info here). It seems like it’s been true for two months, but every game now is must-win in a much more real sense. This is when it gets really intense! Don’t miss it!
